If they retained and reset to factory settings, existing iPads are 3-4 years old, almost obsolete anyway and would not be much use to anyone else.
Yes. The Dáil IT department probably wouldn’t want to support them anyway. Although they perhaps should have been given the chance to buy them for a nominal amount, otherwise wiped and given to charity.
