Yeah, city workers never read Broadsheet and never would be shamed into quickly fixing a missing sign or damaged pole that was highlighted as an issue on the internet.
Meanwhile, the no right turn sign at the top of my road has disappeared, leading to people trying to turn against a light/traffic control which isn’t designed for it. Mentioned to the council over 6 months ago. Crickets.
I’ll always remember where I was when I found out the news.
… There was a time when media outlets gave us context to stories, hell, they even gave us stories.
