Neither is also a choice!
If ever there was a rag of a newspaper the Daily Mail is it.
Both covers are too extreme.
+1
Both factually correct, it was interesting yesterday seeing the contrast in remarks on social media from friends based in the north from predominantly unionist areas, as opposed to friends living in the Republic. I know all the people posting are all good honest decent people yet they were bitterly divided on this subject, black and white.
In this case it merely proves your beliefs mostly are influenced by the environment you grew up within.
ie. People come to their conclusions through narrow minds and not taking in the full picture where then the remarks would look a lot more balanced out.
The paper that sends reporters to funerals with hidden tape recorders.
Unless they’ve actually killed the people in question themselves, the papers are probably still in a position to judge Martin McGuinness.
Quiet now…. You’re killing the ruse that the IDM is the People’s Paper here and that they love the Irish….
I think that you can still ‘love the Irish’, but also find the actions of the PIRA abhorrent.
You can; but do they?
I don’t know; why would we care?
The same paper pushed for the military invasion (with bombs, guns, flames and loud bangs, much death, unimaginable maiming, etc..) and the utter obliteration of Iraq and it’s society…and they laughably seek to take the moral high-ground over this guy..
Kolmo, sometimes the ugliness borders on the unbearable.
I just went to the DM to take a look at the comments. Crikey: they’re an unforgiving bunch. I was no fan of MMcG but wowzers.

Didn’t think you were that old darling…
Their front page usually has a headline about what will cure Alzheimer’s this week… or is it arthritis?
