how in the name of utter ‘upp is the stuff that came out of the PAC today about Templemore and what I understand from basics as Embezzlement not plastered all over the front pages of the papers tomorrow?? what’s going on here?
there should be world war 4 here
it’s simple and I’m not even a basic Garda…get the names and details of whomever opened up these bank accounts and work in from there. nuts. sack them. grrrr!

The obsession with Kenny’s departure date speaks volumes about how useless the pol corrs in this country are.

Feck those asylum seekers and their desperation to do some honest work in return for payment. They should be happy to lie back, take the free dinners & the €19 a week and be happy with it. Where do they think they are?

Those poor premier league players. Must be the stress of doing what you love and getting paid a lot for it. I’m not knocking mental health issues but 62 is a very high number, considering the size of the league.

And who gives a fupp what Prince Philip is doing. The fact that the UK still pours money into the “crown” and the Brits acceptance of it is hilarious.

“Must be the stress of doing what you love and getting paid a lot for it. I’m not knocking mental health issues..”

    You are though.

The problem is they are kids when they break through professionally often inequipped to deal with suddenly being loaded and under tremendous pressure to preform.
I know it’s a problem wed love to have but the pain is probably real.
Just young fellas , can’t imagine what trouble I’d have got myself into if I found myself in that position at that age.

Aaron Lennon was sectioned. Career and income have nothing to do with mental health.

couldn’t they be contributing factors if not necessarily in this case ?

          1. MoyestWithExcitement

Depends on the issue but I’d say probably not for most of them. Someone might have esteem issues because they’re not meeting the potential they showed as a young player but chances are they’d have the same problems if they worked in a call centre and missed their targets. It’s the failure to live up to a standard that gets you down as opposed to your surroundings.

    2. Increasing Displacement

No, as I said, I’m not.
I have a family member who suffers.

But it is a disproportionately high number.

      1. MoyestWithExcitement

You are belittling their mental health issues with a sarcastic comment about how much they earn and how they ‘must’ “love” what they do for a living. You *are* knocking mental health issues. Saying the words ‘I’m not knocking mental health issues’ doesn’t excuse you from knocking mental health issues.

        1. Increasing Displacement

No, as I said, I’m not. A comment can stand alone.

How you take up what I wrote is entirely up to you. If you don’t like what I wrote I really don’t care. As far as I see from all your comments you’re here to battle anyone you can over anything as you’re an expert on everything.

          1. MoyestWithExcitement

You belittled his mental health issues. You implied he doesn’t have anything to lose his mental health over because he’s rich and has a good job. Whatever way you cut it, you’re knocking mental health issues. And now you want to get personal. Classy.

          2. Increasing Displacement

I didn’t direct my comment at any individual.
Now you’re adding stuff and talking through your lower back hole

          3. MoyestWithExcitement

            “Those poor premier league players.”

Sorry, you’re right, you meant all premier league players don’t have any reason to have mental health issues so if they report any they mustn’t be genuine but you’re not knocking mental health issues because you said the magic words ‘I’m not knocking mental health issues.’

          4. Increasing Displacement

I’m glad you finally got it. Took a while but late is better than never

          5. MoyestWithExcitement

Implying someone with money has no real reason for having mental health issues =/= knocking mental health issues? Ok then.
