Avril Doyle; not Gemma Hussey; in that pic with Dukes I think.
Thanks Andrew, fixed now. Sorry.
Labour *panel* Senator; she was an FG Senator.
Barnes died with a lot of secrets, especially in regards garda corruption that was brought to her attention in the late 1970s. She was a very corrupt woman.
That’s a very harsh uncorroborated comment to make on the day of her funeral.
What a nasty comment to make on the day of her funeral.Where is your evidence? People like you disgust me . You have no humanity for others.
PS: You sound illiterate. I hope someone posts this observation online, on the day of your funeral!
So, what, on the day of her funeral we should ignore the fact that serious garda corruption was brought to her attention, and that she ignored it? This is why Ireland is so corrupt. There’s never the right time to bring up corruption. Hide it under the bed. But you’re right, so I’ll say instead ‘sure wasn’t she the grand person, and sure what’s a bit of garda corruption, and didn’t she make everyone feel at home.’
No, you should leave it until tomorrow. Where’s your grandstand been the last few years when the woman was alive? If you really gave a plop you wouldn’t have to take the opportunity of her death to air your grievances. And if you don’t give a plop you’ve nothing to do here but catch some attention for yourself.
The problem with Ireland isn’t so much the rampant corruption as it is the people who throw their hands to heaven and say “goodness me, what an awful lot of corruption, isn’t it all just an awful terrible situation” and then go back to twitching curtains at their neighbours and writing complaints to the RTE.
What’s the benefit in calling them out when they’re dead? Who are you going to question? Who are you going to punish? If you wanted to call her out you had ample opportunity before her fupping funeral.
I did call her out. Not on Broadsheet because BS never had a post on her before.
There won’t be a gravy boat dry tonight? Gravy.
Some major trough slurpers there.
Absolutely.
Judging by the age group and snouts in those photos, and relating the age groups that voted for them, we are surely on the verge of change from the ‘ I voted for FFGLAB all my life’ crew that has blighted this state for almost a century.
Ageism is so okay amongst lazy green eyed millennials
Nice of Olivia Mitchell to bring us some sunshine from Marbella.
Same colour as Dukes
Are you suggesting they were off having 99s together, Frilly?
Have long lens, will travel. (But not with Ryanair.)
Dukes has Eau du Nicotine
Our Lady of good counsel is not and never was in Killiney. If Killiney was as big as all those claiming to live there it would warrant it’s own council.
