      Their not having been painted in decades doesn’t make my eyes sore, but does make my blood hotter.

   Being built decades ago does not make them beautiful. Correct.
   But are they in the way of anything? Are they impeding progress of anything?
   The planned new development in Poolbeg STILL won’t even happen for another few years. Which is a real disgrace worth writing to the Irish Times about.

   Wasn’t New Ross bombed by the Luftwaffe in WWII because they thought in error that it might be important?

    In our horribly flat city it’s nice to see something on the horizon that makes you realise you are looking at Dublin- it’s a shame it has to be two chimneys but I’ll take it.
