He was down in Meath St this morning and one of his lackeys, thinking he’s the business, had the traffic blocked up the length of the street for 5 minutes while his driver tried to park the Volvo.
Let’s signal virtue as hard as we can
Hopefully Dublin County Council will leave this one up as they have repeatedly paint over Subset’s work around the city before: https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/art-and-design/why-are-stunning-dublin-murals-being-painted-over-1.3309756
Charity good, but using charity as an excuse to ignore following the planning rules for advertising like everyone else, not good.
Politicians like Niall Ring shouldn’t be getting involved and apologize for getting involved when proper planning rules have not been followed.
Subset clearly prefer the attention they get when they’re forced to paint over their murals because they keep making excuses and knowingly breaking the rules. I don’t see them even trying to request retention and asking the public to pay to keep the artwork if the works are actually liked enough.
