The road network? (an awful lot)

    Dublin Bus? (a fair bit)

The European elections in general? (a bit)

This particular piece of electioneering? (very, very little indeed)

Any other vaguely-outraged, stupid questions for the group while we’re all here, Bernie?

jasus @Rob_G…that’s a bit smartbotty of you…if you’re irked into defending her well it’s misjudged as she’s utterly DESPICABLE & you well know it & deserves ridicule for what she’s attempting with election to MEP…she represents the worst cynical side of politics, she’s as far apart from honest vocational behaviour as the worst in that Dail at present that I can think of imho.

that wrap job would usually come in around €2k + VAT
dunno the vehicle & it’s arrangements but questioning these bloated self-enriching morkeshing campaigns IS a healthy & correct thing to do (and I mean across the board not just FG)

I’m not defending anyone – if you don’t like her, don’t vote for her.

Political parties get a small amount of funding from the state, the rest they raise themselves. Perhaps for this particular ad, the EPP supplied some funding also, as they are mentioned, and the European Parliament groups don’t typically get much of a mention on election material.

Anyone who thinks that this public expenditure shells out for any party doing this to a car (except in the most abstract, indirect manner) needs to go back to civics class.

It’s funny that this is on BS but there is nothing about GO’D’s Dublin bus ads.

    Just sayin…
