Galway locals Rory, Callan and Cathal flipped their way past 500 other burger outlets to victory as Kepak, the sponsor of National Burger Day, announced that the gourmet burger restaurant, Handsome Burger, is officially home to the best burger in Ireland…

Burger elitism is the new wheatgrass juice
The rib-eye has just the right amount of fat too. I’ve recently gone from making lamb (in a pitta) to pork burgers and the latter are the best-tasting of the three meats – i.e. most widely available meats in Ireland. Pairs better with mustard and gherkin.
