Prior to becoming a minister in the FF/Green coalition Ryan was fiercely critical of the who Shell operation in Mayo.
Lo and behold he become Minister of Natural resources and does the complete opposite – that taking more and more oil/gas out of the ground. This was for the good of Ireland. And then he unleashed state repression on the protesters jailing some and putting numerous fishermen out of business.
A useful idiot.
Not to mention removing the Green Party history from the Green website. Dan never did explain that one after. Shame perhaps?
Surely not the incinerator, the Skyrne valley motorway, cutting city trees, Corrib gas, the pension, diesel….
Or the stated reason they pulled the plug on its last love-in with FF, which was nothing to do with the financial crisis, but the fact that it was taking FF so long to put a leader in place.
