      …just checked they have availability-cheapest room clearly not suitable for you is 625 on July 4,a more suitable abode is 2,500 a night.
      I’m struggling to figure out why its open,insurance?

   Ashford castle is actually located in Galway ;)

      Galway Ashford Castle is more a big house with phony battlements than a real castle.

      The Castle is in Galway but the border is literally in the river so people get mixed up a lot, both pictures were taken in Mayo looking across into Galway.

   Honeymooned there back in the early 00s. Was an unforgettable experience. Originally planned the predictable trip to the tropics but 9/11 happened and the Lady Sirius was seriously spooked flying. Anyways. It’s since had a major refurb and spend a weekend there last year. Still and all one of the finest hotels in the world and if you can afford it, do it. I’d have a couple of nights there over a week in Spain any day.

      ..totally agree big fan-however,always always expense these, way more fun on others peoples money.

      I have a good friend who had a break up,but had won rookie off the year award at his company,prize was all expenses long weekend at Four Seasons,Maui.Unknow to us as he invited me,it was a corporate retreat, we assumed it was just two us and a ounce of Maui Wowie.Long rather stoned but amusing weekend ensured, i fully participated in all they ‘spouse’ activities,trip mall, day at spa,sandacste competition,he’s was golfing,shark fishing,…hey Johnny can you rub some oil on me…oh dont worry honey, he’s that European chap and he’s…

      The company is LA headquartered were overwhelming with kindness to Johnny and Fritz- the picture (video?) at the awards ceremony still exists, he thanked me and said he could not have done it without me to thunderous applause….good times I was beaming:)
