Him and varadkar, there’s bound to be rumblings now in fg about a change of leadership after a series of poor election results.

Poor James, his hand’s going to be sore after penning 20,000+ “How could you?” notes to slide under the doors of the Dublin Bay South constituents tonight.

New look for male politicians. Wear a suit but take off the tie, now you’re less of a w**ker. A more approachable w**ker.

FF really ran an abysmal campaign from start to finish, really badly executed.

FG just made SF the bogeyman and suffered for it.

I’m not a fan of Alan Kelly at all, he seems like what Leo V is to Kate O’Connell, wary of leadership competition. It will be interesting to see how much airtime she gets.

Anyhow congrats to her and all the non racist candidates that ran as it does take a certain dose of bravery to put yourself out there like that.

The arrogance in FG shafting Kate O’Connell who very nearly got them a second seat in February 2020 in favour of an unknown who actually flounced off with Lucinda and her ill-fated fire and brimstone Renua, is the very same arrogance that refuses to properly do anything of substance to deal with a full blown property crisis, the ramifications of which will be felt for decades to come.

Anyone have any idea why FG decided not to run Kate O’Connell? Never mind Leo’s ‘Ms O’Connell decided not to put herself forward’. On the face of it, she seemed a much stronger candidate than James Geoghegan. What was the reasoning behind that choice?
