Name that jammer he’s leaning on? :)
I believe it is a Ford Cortina Estate :)
And look at the state of the Mini in background; I’d say it’s got the Fred Flintstone floor pan…
More like a Toyota Carina estate?
Yep that’s the old Toyota logo on the little hub cover, t’was my job to wash our old Hiace in those days…
Good spot Paulus! :)
… Missed that, damn it!
*kicks tyre*
Hah, I had the Datsun (Nissan) equivalent in the early 80’s. Many Japs had that centre chromed boss thingy on the wheels. Hugely reliable, but shortly went the way of the Mini here when the tinworm set in.
The pic is great, it reminds me of the ’90ish tv ad for the Golf Gti – the handsome fellah comes out of the Casino in Monte Carlo having lost all his money, but drives off in his Gti. This could have been the Irish equivalent for the Cortina estate.
Shayna! How are you?
+1
A rare pleasure and a treat!
Shayna is currently sweltering in Portugal. Anticipating the return to HQ of Tyrone on Sunday. Thank you for asking Bodger. I trust you’re in fine kettle yourself.
I feel about as good as the gent above does tbpf.
Ah Bodge… I’d give ya hug if I could :)
Ta, Clamps!
