From left: Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar
Le gulp.
This morning/afternoon.
Lionel Messi has reportedly agreed to sign with French club PSG on a free transfer.
Via Sports Illustrated:
The six-time Ballon d’Or winner will also join an attack that features one of the world’s preeminent rising stars in Kylian Mbappé, the 22-year-old French sensation who is entering the last year of his contract with the club and has been hesitant to sign a long-term extension.
It’s unclear whether Messi’s arrival makes it more difficult for Mbappé to do that from a club finances point of view, or whether it makes it a more attractive option for the player, to continue at the club while playing alongside the Argentine great. Neymar is already signed through 2025.

Welcome to Anfield, Kylian.
You think?
Don’t think he’ll stay in Paris; needs to spread his wings.
Be interesting to see what he decides to do.
I think he’ll go to Real unfortunately
are they not hampered by fifa fair play rules over their wage bill too?
I think it might be also down to how his family advise him
apparently he’s a decent well grounded youngfella
so I wouldn’t be so sure it’s all about the money with him
PSG slowly becoming the NY Cosmos of European football.
