Anyone know how I can read that Times report on WHO and China?

Funny thing is, that if one said, this time last year, what appears to be being reported, one would be labelled a conspiracy theorist… Hmm.

    1. Charlie

One has to seriously worry about the mental stability of an individual who creates dozens of email addresses and fake accounts in order to make the same point every time on Broadsheet. Surely it’s a genuine illness and the act of a man in a very dark place?

      1. bisted

…deffo Charlie…next thing he’ll be raving about footie…how it nearly came home and not a word about how Tesco knocked England out of the same competition last time…

Have I mentioned how much I’m still smiling since the Euro Final? The Premier League may have just begun with its Sky Sports hyped trash but it’s the Euro Final that has by far fuelled my footballing pleasure for the rest of the year. Roll on their next failure. Fantastic!

Dear oh dear Charage you forgot one little bit: The Trump/Biden calamity unfolding in Afghanistan began with the Trump “administration” aka Orange Man negotiating with Taliban terrorists and pretending they were “partners for peace” – Donald’s words. Do you think what is happening now would have been any different under Trump?

Also “Kinsale” Kid my derrière. You wish.

      Chortle!

“The Austin area is in the midst of a dire Covid-19 crisis, after setting local records this week for the most patients in intensive care and on ventilators. Only seven ICU beds remain in a region of almost 2.4 million. Statewide, hospitals are so depleted that the Texas governor, Greg Abbott, is turning to medical personnel from out of state.”

Baud auld does of seasonal flu in Texas…

      1. Charlie

It was the daily vaccine numbers update in the U.K. Funny how that all went away when little ol’ Ireland surpassed their numbers a while back. Ye gotta love it.

Ah Charger, don’t be talking sense – this post is for Micko, SOQ, and info_warless to go apoplectic about, not for you to be making measured points…. you’re only fun when you’re trying to defend Brexit Land like the Internet Gurkha that you are

Although, while deaths are much lower, people stuck in ICU from Covid is bed-blocking in the extreme. And having people in hospital for one thing and testing positive for covid – an infectious disease… maybe… or 5G… – and then having to be separated from the general hospital population in just draining resources all over the place… looks like it will be a long winter when actual flu also strikes…

  4. Papi

There’s the racist bigotry and the fact that he simply cannot put a space after a full stop.
    Charger, you poor fool.

omg the oul “Sunset Beach Club” in Benny…fond memories

not sure who owns it anymore but nevertheless I hope it survives

The constant news about divisions in FF is both appealing in a gossipy way but annoying in a, nothing will happen. They are cynical in wanting both things at once, shouting about how annoyed they are with leadership with one eye on the next election and yet doing nada to dissolve the government and bring on side election. It’s just a cute way to manipulate media messaging for their own electoral gain.

  7. Birdie

And the governments plan is to give half a billion to developers to solve the housing crisis?! Christ, that’s bleak.

I posted this yesterday but for some reason it disappeared.

Ivermectin- Expert slams absurd regulatory opposition to drub that could end the pandemic.

Health agencies around the world are refusing to approve the ‘drug that can end the pandemic’ because they have been ‘captured by Big Pharma,’ according to a US intensive care expert.

“There is just a mountain of evidence supporting its use and it is being used effectively in many portions of the world but there is a lot of resistance to Ivermectin,” he said.

“In fact, there is a very strong and deep opposition in public health agencies – in the ivory towers – and that is something I have had to become an expert on.

“This is a repurposed drug. It is cheap, it is off-patent and you can’t really make a significant amount of money off of it.

“They are being wilfully misleading by demanding that trial when there are already 30 randomised control trials,” he said.

“The trials show massive reductions in mortality, hospitalisation, time to clinical recovery and also time to viral clearance. Again, I can only say this is absurd and it needs to be called out.

“We are dealing with extensive and really profound regulatory capture.”

Also side effects of Ivermectin include coma, liver damage etc… they are rare…. sort of like vaccines…. and also not a lot of info of long term use for a viral infections… beware of experimental drugs…

Ivermectin may interact with other medications
Ivermectin oral tablet can interact with other medications, vitamins, or herbs you may be taking. An interaction is when a substance changes the way a drug works. This can be harmful or prevent the drug from working well.

To help avoid interactions, your doctor should manage all of your medications carefully. Be sure to tell your doctor about all medications, vitamins, or herbs you’re taking. To find out how this drug might interact with something else you’re taking, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Examples of drugs that can cause interactions with ivermectin are listed below.

      Warfarin

Warfarin is a drug used to thin your blood. Taking warfarin with ivermectin can thin your blood too much and cause dangerous bleeding. If you need to take these drugs together, your doctor will monitor your international normalized ratio (INR).

      Ivermectin warnings
This drug comes with several warnings.

      Allergy warning

Ivermectin can cause a severe allergic reaction. Symptoms can include:

      trouble breathing
swelling of your throat or tongue
      skin rash
If you develop these symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Don’t take this drug again if you’ve ever had an allergic reaction to it. Taking it again could be fatal (cause death).

Warnings for people with certain health conditions

For people with asthma: This drug may make your asthma worse. Ask your doctor if this drug is safe for you.

For people with liver problems: If you have liver problems or a history of liver issues, this drug may cause more harm to your liver. Also, you may not be able to process this drug well. This may increase the levels of the drug in your body and cause more side effects. Ask your doctor if this drug is safe for you.

For people with seizures: This drug may cause seizures. Ask your doctor if this drug is safe for you.

For people with HIV: If you have HIV or a condition where your immune system doesn’t work as well as it should, one dose of this drug may not be enough to treat your parasitic infection. You may need several treatments with this drug.

      Warnings for other groups

For pregnant women: Ivermectin is a category C pregnancy drug. That means two things:

Research in animals has shown adverse effects to the fetus when the mother takes the drug.
There haven’t been enough studies done in humans to be certain how the drug might affect the fetus.
Talk to your doctor if you’re pregnant or planning to become pregnant. This drug should only be used if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk.

If you become pregnant while taking this drug, call your doctor right away.

For women who are breastfeeding: Ivermectin passes into breast milk and may cause side effects in a child who is breastfed. Talk to your doctor if you breastfeed your child. You may need to decide whether to stop breastfeeding or stop taking this medication.

For seniors: Your liver may not work as well as it used to. This can cause your body to process drugs more slowly. As a result, more of this drug can stay in your body for a longer time. This raises your risk of side effects.

For children: It hasn’t been established if this drug is safe and effective in children who weigh less than 33 pounds (15 kg).”

      1. SOQ

Yes you keep repeatedly posting that as though people could not read it the first time. I highlighted an expert in the field who has strong views on Ivermectin and CoVid-19 vaccines.

        Here’s a few more:-

        Professor Dolores Cahill
        Dr Ryan Cole
        Dr Richard Fleming
        Dr Dmitry Kats
        Dr Tess Lawrie
        Dr Li-Meng Yan
        Dr Robert Malone
        Dr Peter McCullough
        Dr Joseph Mercola
        Dr Lee Merritt
        Dr Sherri Tenpenny
        Dr Richard Urso
        Dr Sam White
        Dr Vladimir Zelenko

But according to an anonymous commentator on the internet, with what I assume is no relevant qualifications or experience- they are all wrong too.

The Awareness Foundation Covid 19 Roundtable

        https://inoneplace.com/thewatch/item/a7VKK4WS0hA1874

Why has it become so controversial to listen to alternative points of view all of a sudden?

          1. SOQ

4 BILLION prescriptions over a 50 year period? Compare that to the list of injuries from these experimental injections already- it really is a no brainer.

    2. MacGafraidh

SOQ, you say “The trials show massive reductions in mortality, hospitalisation, time to clinical recovery and also time to viral clearance. Again, I can only say this is absurd and it needs to be called out.”

Can you pop up a link to one of these completed trials please. TIA

        1. Cian

How many of those papers that listed “trials show massive reductions in mortality, hospitalisation, time to clinical recovery and also time to viral clearance.” have been retracted? five? six?

All of the trials that showed positive treatment have been shown to be fraudulent and/or retracted..

          1. SOQ

And on a Sunday night you are about to reveal how those trials are shown to be fraudulent.

We await your response with breathlessness anticipation.

        2. MacGafraidh

Yeah and you posted a load of nonsense so I’m querying it.. Look under references on his wiki.. It’s all fact checks and reasons why the drug isn’t a miracle drug.. There are no R.C.Ts that I can see that validate the effects of that Medication against covid other than ones due to commence in June the results of which won’t be available until December. Hearsay from a handful of doctors isn’t a clinical trial.

          1. SOQ

I merely quoted from his interview if you had bothered to read it?

Whiter you realise it or not, you are pharma shilling- it is prescribed for CoVid-19 in the second most populous country in the world- which is India, a country with a very low CoVid-19 mortality rate.

    3. George

“Two of the highest-quality studies available include a double-blind, randomized trial in Colombia and a meta-analysis of 14 studies involving more than 1,600 participants, McCulloch said.

The Colombia study found that, among adults with mild COVID-19 cases, a five-day course of ivermectin ‘did not significantly improve the time to resolution of symptoms.’ The meta-analysis, published in late July, concluded that ‘the reliable evidence available does not support the use of ivermectin for treatment or prevention of COVID‐19 outside of well‐designed randomized trials.’ ”

Whoosh! And just like that, Charger is dismissed and is now scurrying off to create another email address and nom de plume.

          1. Charlie

Ha, yea right. Or maybe it’s because you and the other two are cut from the same piece of nasty cloth.

      1. goldenbrown
