‘In 1984, I was taking a stand against Thatcher. The most insidious thing she ever said was ‘There is no such thing as society’. When you refuse to wear a mask or get vaccinated, you are echoing her. As then, I’m still opposing that attitude in favour of the greater good.’

“When you refuse to wear a mask or get vaccinated, you are echoing Thatcher.”

Strange logic. Thatcher would have sent in the army by now.

Billy Bragg – doesn’t think the pandemic is a hoax and the vaccine a mind-control poison, thereby betraying everything he ever stood for.

For the oafs who still do’t seem to get the simplicity of it. A Covid pass has nothing to do with Bragg, it’s the law. Build a bridge and get over it when you’ve finished licking your rats.

            Vaccine’s are free?

You should be laughed off the internet for such a nonsense claim.

Pzier Moderna et al just doing this out of the goodness of their heart are they?

If so, why are the contracts secrecyt?

He probably didn’t think it was all a hoax being perpeatrated on the human race, though. The idea that vaccine passes are a cruel and evil injustice is pretty much dependant on the idea that the pandemic is all an elaborate hoax.

He’s old enough to know better. I guess he has his Knighthood in the bag now. Can you imagine Woody Guthrie barring the unjabbed? Unbelievable.

‘I’ve been down rabbit holes, I’ve seen the rabid trolls
Cackling in the twilight of the Age of Reason
One thing I’ve noticed as I get older
Common sense, like art, is in the eye of the beholder’

Know better about what? Is there some information that’s supposed to just materialise magically in his brain and then get reinfiorced by random twitter screenshots? Or is the man who opposed the poll tax suddenly a willing participant in a global hoax to enslave humanity? Because of a knighthood?

Endlessly fascinated by the enormous lacunae in both the logic that has to be accepted and the idea that questioning the lacunae is tantamount to an ethical failing that puts the questioner on the level of Satan.

I can only imagine Woody Guthrie welcoming the unjabbed if they were poor people denied the jab by The Bosses. He’d get jabbed himself first, though.

‘Now the world wide web is a wonderful thing
You’re just a click away from all of the facts
        But there’s a downside if you’ve a curious mind
        It’s like heroin for autodidacts’

          “Jumble sales are organized
          And pamphlets have been posted
Even after closing time there’s still parties to be hosted
You can be active with the activists
Or sleep in with the sleepers
While you’re waiting for the great leap forwards”

No one really likes anyone who Braggs.

    Bragg aka Scab

‘I segregated my audience between the wars’

  4. K. Cavan

Horrible voice, whiney folk-songs, not my cup of tea, at all, so I enjoy his demented behaviour, he still thinks he’s an “anti-establishment figure”, God help him.
