Just now – looks like a concrete bunker type wall has been erected at the Russian Embassy.

Drove past it this morning, it’s a metal fence. Plenty of space across the road to protest that they can’t do anything about.

The Russians are pounding Kharkiv as if it were 1945 Berlin.
While destroying consulates in Kharkiv with missiles they complain that their Vienna Convention rights are infringed in Dublin.

Putin solo behind a concrete (bunker) wall with a pearl handled revolver and a bottle of Smirnoff gets the Eurovision douze points

Do they have many consulates in Kharkiv?
I would have thought they would all be in Kiev

my thoughts exactly. Unless it was erected by DCC/DLRCC, they’re in trouble*

*that’s based on the council(s) having a spine.

IRELAND is doing a great job unlike the Brits.

For every Helen McEntee there’s a Priti Patel.

    1. bell

Does Priti Patel accept illegal donations or claim expenses while on leave, or is that just an Irish thing?

Why do you think Ireland is doing a great job? Give us examples. Also what will Ireland do if the war spills over to Poland?
You need to ease of the anti-British stuff you’re being fed pal, I know it suits the government to have you pointing at them but you’re being taken for a sucker.

This is how good a job our media is doing as PR for this government.
        Helen McEntee? It’s embarrassing.

It’s the same stuff they use outside the Dail. Guess who has the contract to supply it.

Sure a little bit of fencing and mostly unarmed Gardai is not so bad.

American embassies are way more fortified in the countries they have illegally and deliberately wrecked, because they are genuinely despised to the point that driving a car full of explosives at them is deemed an honourable way to go.

All I see is Russia defending itself as a sovereign state, whilst trying to minimise civilian casualties.

They could do “shock and awe” as per US in Iraq, or 70 straight days of bombing like NATO did in Serbia, but they are just not as bad as the ghouls we have running our show. They actually care about Ukraine, they are brethren.

It’s great to see Irish people of a certain age putting boots on the ground outside 1984 Orwell Road in protest. Not everyone over 55 spends all day posting aul fella and aul wan guff on Broadsheet and The Journal.

So, where are the Stasi of the Tik-Tok generation? At home, trying to cancel Putin with hashtags? Millennials and Gen-Z – as usual doing jack.
