No Wait, Come Back

“It could be the most infectious virus we’ve seen, amazing. Chickenpox is very infectious and measles – we all know these spread like wildfire.

“But this BA.2 – there’s nothing like it.”

Professor of Biochemistry at Trinity College Luke O’Neill

Gulp.

Fear porn’s Ron Jeremy at it again.

Any excuse.

Covid-19 Ireland: New BA.2 strain ‘impossible to avoid’, says Luke O’Neill (Dublin Live)

Meanwhile…

Yup.

You call that fear porn? The vaccine is a global genocildal murder drug! Now THAT’S fear porn!

    1. Dr.Fart

hahaha spot on! ive pondered that. the people who say its only a flu and theres too much scaremongering also go around saying if u got the vaccine ur guna die soon.

      1. K.Cavan

Coronaviruses are entirely unrelated to Influenza, although both are, like hundreds of others, RNA viruses, Mr Fart.

  2. ANO

Jaysus Bodger, if you’re that worried about the ‘rona then go get your shots and keep self-isolating.

    1. SOQ

Jaysus Bodger, if you’re that worried about the ‘rona then go out catch the damned thing and get over it.

And that’s the very weird one now isn’t- there is a pretty accurate relatively cheap test which can tell if you have already been exposed, therefore immune- yet governments are not interested in knowing this- strange eh?

Roll roll up for round four of the CLOTTERY- your body’s immune system has only got three rounds of spike proteins to be clearing out at the moment- that’s not nearly enough.

    2. Micko

“it will “almost impossible” to avoid getting infected.”

Well that’s good – almost impossible. Should be over by lunchtime.

At risk people better get their shots indeed – although which variant are the vaccines to protect against again? Was it the original strain.

Are they gonna be updating it anytime soon?

      1. Nigel

        ‘Well that’s good’

Unless you’re chronically ill, immunocompromised, disabled or just old. All dead by lunchtime?

          1. Nigel

We know now it takes more than just shots – and until we know how the new strains interact with the vaccines, even that’s a crap-shoot.

          2. Micko

What else does it take then? More restrictions?

Coz if restrictions are indefinite we might want to have an aul vote about it.

          3. Nigel

If it’s that bad, yes. And it will be an emergency measure if it comes to that. I mean you still seem to think that ending restrictions when transmission is high but hospitalisations are low and manageable somehow proved you right. That’s just not the case.

          4. TenPin Terry

            Bang on Micko.
I’ve had four Covid shots and the annual flu jab.
I take full-strength Vitamin D and Zinc every day.
And I drink like a fish.
Can’t remember the last time I had a cold and COVID holds no fear for me as I trust the scientists.
My GP, who has had 4 shots too, tells me virtually everyone occupying a hospital bed with COVID isn’t vaccinated and most bitterly regret falling for the anti-vax nonsense.
I have no sympathy I’m afraid.

          5. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

that’s a lot more unvaccinated people out there than one is led to believe, next you’ll be telling us they are all non nationals,
in fairness if I was a fat, beer swilling auld fella I may have got the shots too :)

          6. Micko

“I mean you still seem to think that ending restrictions when transmission is high”

Nope, I’ve always felt that the cost on people’s mental health, well being, stress, missed diagnoses, financial destitution and eventual early death that the restrictions bring, would always outweigh the relatively small number of people lost to the pandemic.

Plus that people who are vulnerable, are unfortunately vulnerable to almost everything.

          7. Micko

“I have no sympathy I’m afraid.”

Indeed Terry. And as I am personally unvax’d as I didn’t fall into an at risk group and have had Covid twice now, if I do get Covid again and end up in a bad way and die – well, that will be my own fault and responsibility and I would expect no sympathy. I made my choice.

Sure today could be the very day I die…

So, exactly the same chance as the other 16,145 f*&<ing days I've been alive then. ;-)

          8. Nigel

Yes, you operate under the unexamined assumption that the pandemic itself, if left unchecked would not take a worse toll on all those things.

          9. Micko

And you operate on the opposite assumptions. Both equally valid assumptions.

Hence a vote is the most prudent way to decide.

          10. Nigel

No, I don’t find your assumptions particularly valid. In fact I find them quite blatantly faulty.

For example, attempting to organise a referendum as part of a response to an immediate emergency is completely non-viable.

          11. Micko

“a response to an immediate emergency”

Surely the people have the right to decide if they think it’s an emergency or not.

Personally I never felt Covid was an emergency for me, which is why I turned down a medicine developed under emergency use. .

“I don’t find your assumptions particularly valid.”

Again, this is your issue – you always think you’re right.

          12. TenPin Terry

” a lot more unvaccinated people out there than one is led to believe ”

So what you’re saying Janet is that official government vaccination figures are wrong and you know better.
            How exactly ?
Take your time. We’ve got all day.

          13. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

it’s cause I said you were fat isn’t it ;)
I just thought the party line was most people were vaccinated…

          14. Nigel

That’s the thing about emergencies, they really don’t care about your feelings, or your sense of personal exceptionalism.

And that’s your issue. You seem to think theres something inherently wrong with me thinking I’m right. If I thought I was wrong, I’d try to correct myself. How am I different from anyone else? I think you’re wrong, but I debate what I think you’re wrong about, I don’t get het up about you thinking you’re right. If you didn’t think you were right you’d be a liar, and that’s a whole other order of thing.

          15. Micko

            “You are”

On my opinion that the restrictions will have a much more damaging effect then Covid ever could have.

That scenario hasn’t played out yet, so stall the ball there Mystic Meg.

Notions of clairvoyance now too eh? ;p

          16. K.Cavan

You shouldn’t trust your doctor, Terry, he’s lying about the numbers of unjected in hospitals or, more likely, regards you as a simpleton he can safely spoof.
He’s a GP, right? So exactly how does he know what the stats are in hospitals? He doesn’t work in one, he’s got no special access to any statistics.
That’s like your mechanic telling you who’s gonna win F1.
            Won’t be Mercedes, anyway.

        1. K.Cavan

Well, Nigel, Congo has a population of 89 million, 0.3% vaccinated, Ethiopia, 115 million, 1.6% vaccinated, Nigeria, 206 million, 2.7%, Tanzania, 59 million, 3% & there’s a whole stack of these, adding up to just short of a billion people with the average vaccination rate at below 10%.
No mass graves, though. Most of those countries didn’t have lockdowns, distancing or mask mandates, either.
The whole thing was a con, a con you fell for, & if you’re still lining up for boosters, well, you really do deserve to die, like anyone who is reckless about their health.
At least junkies have the excuse of addiction.

      2. K.Cavan

Micko, the constant mutation of RNA viruses is the reason why no vaccines for Coronaviruses can work. If you get infected with Sars02, 229E, any Coronavirus, the virus you cough & sneeze out will be different from the one that infected you.
Getting an injection designed to imitate the effect of a virus variant that’s now extinct carries a high risk of ADE, as well as the Spike Protein-induced side-effects & very little, if any benefit.
If a safe vaccine that could’ve eliminated up to 40% of common colds was available, there’d have been ads on the telly for it, years ago.
Ireland’s mortality stats make it undeniable, if we had a Pandemic in 2020, then the one we had in 2018 was slightly larger, by 0.4%.

      3. K.Cavan

Micko, once you have a single case of any Coronavirus inside a country’s borders, almost everybody will get it, sooner or later. Because of the Lipid capsule, they’re absolutely fantastic little buggers at hanging around, waiting to be picked up & rubbed into your eye, the prime point of entry for all Coronaviruses.
We’ve had the equivalent of Sars02 on four occasions, within the last millennium, we didn’t get wiped out, although there was possibly an unnoticed cull of the sick & elderly, we just got by on Herd Immunity & the genuinely astonishing Immune Systems we inherited from our ancestors.
Of course, we didn’t have talented software billionaires with no medical knowledge running our health services, back then.

A small bit of research indicates that that “dr James e olsson“ account is a fake account.

Not a doctor, just some bottomhole.

    1. Kim Cardassian

You’re forgetting that no one round here likes to do a small bit of research though. Most can’t read

      1. jungleman

You can be sure Bodger will leave that tweet hanging there like a bad smell.

But he might delete my comments for pointing it out.

      2. K.Cavan

No Kim, all of us, by definition, can read but if you haven’t figured that out by now…
Olssen knows his stuff but I’m afraid the “researchers” have the same qualifications & knowledge as most “fact checkers”, so they don’t.

    2. K.Cavan

Clearly, he’s using an alias, for obvious reasons. I’ve read some of his posts, he knows his stuff.

      1. jungleman

        2.48am

        “Clearly, he’s using an alias..”

Really? And how would a basement-dwelling national party member like yourself know this?

RIP Professor Luke O’Neill, another victim of vaccine injury.

Crushed to death by a pallet of pfizers crispy vaxcakes.

  5. GiggidyGoo

Ron Jeremy Ha haaaaaaa. Spot on.

Always good to revisit Luke O’Neill.

    – He stated ‘Vaccinations are stopping transmission.’ (No they’re not)
    – ‘When vaccination reaches a high level ‘the virus goes away’ ‘ (No it doesn’t)
    – ‘We can prevent Covid through vaccination’ (No you can’t)
    – ‘All of the vaccines, including AstraZeneca, will prevent you getting sick and ending up in hospital.’ (No they won’t)

    1. K.Cavan

I saw him on Newstalk (uuugh!) telling the sheep that the boosters are far better than the first jabs (they’re exactly the same) & that they would give “two to three years immunity”. He’s an utter disgrace, a liar, a scumbag & a charlatan, with blood on his hands. He should be charged with crimes against humanity. And my eyes.
