“We The People” is a White House initiative where the US government responds to any petition that can land 25,000 signatures in a month. Yesterday, the White House’s Phil Larson responded to petitions for the President to “Immediately disclose the government’s knowledge of and communications with extraterrestrial beings” and “formally acknowledge and extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.”
