Staying in this Autumn?

At the fairly subdued, in fairness, launch of RTÉ One’s new season of shows and whatnot this afternoon at RTÉ, Donnybrook, Dublin.

From top: (l-r) Charlie Murphy, Laurence Kinlan and Aoibhinn McGinnity; Miriam O’Callaghan and Tom Vaughan Lawlor.

Earlier: Hate/Hate

Both RTE and the Independent are going to be rightly stuck for content when that show ends. At least RTE 2 will have something to replace their Father Ted box set with.

I watched the first season last week and it looks like billy barry kids playing gangster. Are the other seasons any good?

I didn’t like the first season but once aidan gillen was gone it really picked up. It also tended to fall off a bit once sheehan left.

I would only dispute this on two bases: I’ve not seen too many people rate him; I don’t have the requisite knowledge to have seen all the tv actors, thank god.

I liked him in the Wire but he bugged the hell out of me in Love/Hate. Seems to have a lot of difficulty with the accent. Sounds ridiculous. Thught the show got better after season 1 but never thought it waws as amazing as a lot of others thought

So, does this mean that Miriam is “joining” Love/Hate ?
If so, that could mean that she could be “killed off” and we wouldn’t have to listen or see her !!!!!

Very hot. Whats wrong with the other chick’s stomach in the first photo- or am I seeing things?

Ah RTE’s new season – the same old s***e with the same (related) old people

And we’re still paying for it….

You’d think they’d have dressed them up, the interns can’t think of everything during August

Love/Hate is like the Pusher trilogy for thickos. Not a good show at all and not a success abroad as some would have you believe. People only watch it because it’s Irish.
