The manoeuvre is legal on the canal as long as you blow your horn 6 times, pull starboard, let off a flare and wave your arms in the air like you just don’t care. Don’t forget to give the other skipper the two fingers.

I emailed both companies last year via their respective websites to enquire about renting for a party, neither responded. Very unimpressed. Makes sense now that they are both owned by same family.
