The Blueprint Brothers

They’re rich, they’re male, they know what’s good for us.

But what do they really want? Apart from paying as little tax in Ireland as is legally possible.

According to their blueprint, in the Irish Times this morning, they want the following:

* To sell the airports and ports.

* To create 10,000 graduate internships (aka indentured servitude) in major companies

* To facilitate ‘more balanced’ media coverage: “There needs to be a positive engagement with editorial and ownership/ senior management of media organisations in order to ensure we have balanced coverage and that good news stories are covered.”

* To continue to welcome the downward trend of wage costs in the private sector but have it extended to the public sector – to wit, everyone should be paid an even smaller fraction of what they earn themselves.

* To make sure the sale of commercial state companies pursued “as a matter of urgency”

* To cut €2.1bn from the social welfare budget by eliminating “fraud”.

* To make Ireland the capital of global online gambling. Didn’t we win this already?

* To have unelected ministers.

* To bring nuclear power to Ireland.

Don’t know about you but we’re stoked just reading this.

Bring it, billionaire boys club!
