The full madness of the scheme has been revealed in the Dail today by Minister Fergus O’Dowd.
1) It will take three years
2) It will cost €500m
3) That will come from the National Pension Reserve Fund.
4) But by the time it’s paid back it will have cost €1bn.
5) It will cost more than what it would have cost to stop leaks of treated water.
6) 45% of treated water is lost through leaks.
7) But we have to do it THIS WAY because Europe says so.
