For the last eight years, I have worked weekly shifts on the picture desk at the Irish News of the World. Last night, my colleagues put the paper to bed for the last time ever. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the story of the News of the World, no journalist likes to see a newspaper die. This photo essay is a tribute to the people who brought out the paper week after week, and perhaps most strikingly of all, continued to do so with professionalism and dedication even after they had been so cruelly dismissed three days before
