Now, he’s written to us with new message for graduates

Interesting to read these comments, I see that the high horse approach has provoked debate. It took a while to figure out the formula for getting published in the IT.
The important point for all of you to remember is that this country is bankrupt and it will never get off its feet unless the young graduates coming out of University do something about it. You have seen what the government and ‘leadership’ is willing to do to help you. More training schemes, more hand-outs, more ‘initiatives’. These are designed to win public support, nothing more.
Like many of you, I worked hard in college only to find at the end of it that there were no jobs. Therefore, I had little choice but to start my own business. I’ve seen how people with connections get jobs while those of us without are left to either emigrate (which I technically did in moving to N.Ireland) or sign on the dole.
Don’t fall into the trap of signing on welfare or joining government programs. They might take care of your short-term problems, but they are worth nothing to you in the long run.
Perhaps I am an a***hole, but, we’ve all seen what charming ‘man of the people’ types get you. They destroyed our country.
