The content was all there from the huge volume of tweets contributed, so once we went through them all and selected the best ones, we then decided which ones lent themselves to being illustrated. We went for a reductive style of illustration that tips its hat to the work of Jaroslav Sura and the kids books of Paul Rand, and the colours were an obvious choice.
