Finally worked out why this broken BMW tail light is on display on O’Connell St, Dublin [about 10 metres north of the Spire], it’s art. It’s actually a piece of former Anglo Irish Bank chairman Sean Fitzpatrick’s BMW, which the bank seized, a member of the public bought, then crushed. I like art!
