2. Jack Reacher brings Lee Child‘s literary bad-ass to the big screen. The movie adapts One Shot, the seventh Reacher novel. Fans were up in arms at Cruise’s casting, primarily because Jack Reacher is 6’5 tall and Tom Cruise stands 3’4 in Bono heels. Or thereabouts.
3. Jack Reacher is written and directed by Chris McQuarrie, who won an Oscar for writing The Usual Suspects (1995) and directed the under-appreciated Way Of The Gun (2000).
4. Plenty of punters out there have issues relating to Tom Cruise, because of his involvement with Scientology, or just because, well he’s plain old creepy. Fair enough. He’ll always be Les Grossman to us.
