Rag Week has been cancelled in Galway over last year’s shenanigans.

Instead, the students have organised Donegal Day.

RTÉ reports solemnly:

“Gardaí have said there is a highly visible policing presence in Galway today, with hundreds of students expected to converge on the city centre for “Donegal Day”.

“Students queued to enter one city centre pub this morning and a large number of young people are walking around the city wearing Donegal GAA jerseys.”

“Gardaí are monitoring the situation and conducting spot-checks on licensed premises.”

Boo.

This is Tom. He went missing today [Tuesday] around the Rotunda hospital/O’Connell Street [Dublin] area. He has advanced Parkinsons Disease and Lewy body dementia. Would be grateful If people could keep an eye out for him.
