Former Aston Villa and Leeds United manager David O’Leary has won $5.2m (£3.34m) in compensation from Al Ahli FC, following his sacking by the Dubai-based club in 2011. A long running dispute between the club and their former manager has been settled by Fifa’s Players’ Status Committee in favour of O’Leary, who was dismissed in April 2011 after just eight months in charge.
Result.
