Saturday sees three free afternoon gigs in Dublin. The Twisted Pepper-based record shop Elastic Witch celebrates its second birthday with a free gig featuring Patrick Kelleher, Princess and Autumn from 3pm.
Over in Kevin Kavanagh Gallery on Chancery Lane there’s an all dayer of independent Irish music with Maria Somerville, Ickis Mirolo, Ed Devane and more from 4pm. And, there’s a Minimum Maximum daytime gig (curated by me it must be said) on the last Saturday in Granby Park [Lower Dominick Street, Dublin 1] before it shuts this week with live sets from Tieranniesaur, Charmers, Idiot Songs, Liza Flume and Lethal Dialect. 3pm – 7pm in the outdoor amphitheatre and free for all. The sun is supposedly going to shine too.
