Tomorrow, the LGBT Helpline will launch the 2013 National Coming Out Day upstairs in the Workman’s Club, above, in Dublin at 12.30pm.

National Coming Out Day will take place on Friday.

The LGBT Helpline writes:

“At tomorrow’s launch, Paula Fagan, Coordinator of the LGBT Helpline, will highlight the prevalence of mental health issues amongst the LGBT community.  She will also stress the importance of ‘National Coming Out Day’ for both LGBT people and their families and friends, and – in particular – for older members of the LGBT community.”

‘”National Coming Out Day’ is being promoted by the LGBT Helpline in partnership with Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI), which works to improve conditions and advance the rights and equality of trans people and their families.  Staff and members of both organisations will take part in tomorrow’s launch.”
