“Critically-acclaimed Australian show Women of Letters will be in Dublin on the 8th of April for an exclusive showcase featuring Angeline Ball, Monica McInerney and TV3’s Sinead Desmond.
The premise involves five or six female writers, performers and artists joining together to revive the lost art of letter writing. Each guest speaker is given a special topic in advance and they write a personal letter to be read aloud on the evening. The Dublin [theme] is: ‘A letter to the path I could have taken.’The show has previously been staged across America in LA and New York, with names like Martha Wainwright and Amanda Palmer taking part so it’s pretty exciting to see it coming to this part of the world for a short run…”
