“The Puppies are all from the Dochas breeding programme at Shelton Abbey Prison and attended the launch of a pioneering programme with Irish charity Dogs for the Disabled and the Irish Prison Service. The charity which provides trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities is appealing for donations to meet the high demand for its unique services and is reducing costs by actively involving prisoners in the breeding process and care of its assistance puppies. To donate 4 euro text ‘Pups’ to 50300.”
