Love the National, but having seen them in the O2 last time put me off seeing them live again.

The O2 has a habit of doing that to even the best acts. Jay-Z & Kanye was probably the only one I’ve seen there that was actually really enjoyable, and that was mainly because of how utterly stupid it was. I avoid the place, terrible venue.

The O2 has been the venue for one of my favourite gigs (Rammstein) and my least favourite (The National). It’s better suited to spectacle – The National was easily one of the most boring gigs I’ve been to, and I’d been looking forward to them. A lot of the crowd seemed disengaged. I’d only go and see them again if they played somewhere like Vicar st., which is probably never going to happen.

Rammstein would make anywhere seem good in fairness. Really wish I’d gone to that show.

Stop what? The need for Broadsheet to put the same little meme lines in posts is really annoying sometimes.

I’ve seen you posting only twice now, both times to deride the National (I can take them or leave them, btw). It’s easy enough to avoid things you don’t like, but you’re going out of your way to annoy yourself and define yourself by what you don’t like rather than what you do. And you’re not even doing it in a funny way like Haroo did above.

      Tldr: Your comment is bad.

Sorry but this can’t be allowed to continue:

How will this affect Ireland’s reputation?

      OR

What effect will this have on Ireland’s reputation?

Fantastic gig, would go again tonight if I had tickets. Sound was a little dodgy at times, but overall, my gig of the year (so far)

Seen the national multiple times, they always put on an amazing show… Had the choice to go to longitude and the ufc tonight but chose the national because they are just that good! The national supersedes all!
