Big difference between a few boats and an actual regatta, great to see the sport so alive in the city though. I often see these guys on the Liffey near the point
St Patricks rowing club, find them on FB! There club house is on the dodder so they use it to row out to the Liffey
It’s not a regatta, the season is over. There was a mass on this evening in the church & what you witnessed was a mark of honour. :-)
One of the first Irishmen to die in WWI was from Ringsend. There’s a ceremony in honour of his memory in the village this evening.
