How much is he paying you for this coverage?

I’d never heard of him before you started pulling his pigtails with this amount of regularity

And people wonder why Irish people are begrudging of their successful compatriots.

    1. Get sh*t done.
    2. Be an ars*hole.
    3. Film it on a g*pro.

It’s a bit of a cheat, in my opinion, to put out a video of oneself on a fancy boat doing a tour about how you made your money when the fancy boat and tour are paid for by someone else…. all show, no substance…? ….makes me think the book will be the same.

I’ll say this positively though, fair play on blagging a free tour :)

He’s either on the board of Broadsheet, or someone in the Broadsheet towers has it in for him. Either way, stop yelping on about him like a sick puppy.

I know this is absolute comment-bait by Broadsheet, but the video is really worth a look. Watching a pasty-faced Irishman shoehorned into such a video, gurning helplessly, shoulders hunched in discomfort with his own awkward self. It’s seems essentially parodic, even if the intent isn’t there. Naked avarice, naked hunger for what he knows he can’t be. It’s like that brief flash where Father Ted imagines himself dancing in a shiny blue jacket under disco lights. That Harbison is genuine in his aspirations, and that he thinks a video such as this—with these production values—is material to those aspirations. Who is getting shit done? What is the shit? Where are the hours in front of a desk? How does this spectacularly clichéd lifestyle video promote his self-help lessons? It’s just fascinating. Can’t wait for the documentary.

In fairness, I sent this to BS so it’s not like they went out hunting for it.

Any thoughts on how much the boat hire would cost? Few gees?

I’m guessing it was a freebie since he’s partnering with AmericanHolidays.com. Shame though, most people given a few free toys could make a more interesting video than that in Miami. It’s all about him – look at meeee! – not about Miami.

Theres no you in My-ami. Its a self loving city.
its a shame that the only sh*t getting done in the promo is driving. Always travelling on that journey never arriving. A metaphor for Harbisons life perhaps?

It could be Harbspirational. Could be sh*t.
        Lets wait and see.

        1. Buzz

My point is we don’t get to see the self-loving city. Coulld he not have give us a few shots of roller-blading trannies in thongs, ice-cream eating poodles, y’know anything that gives us a sense of heat. This is just lame. Pale-skins get a spin on the boat.

I’ve seen bigger dingy’s on the Shannon.
With more hoes too, total nerd sausage fest.

all night on the beach til you break your phone
    Welcome to Miami
    Bienvenido a Miami

That’s not a rail, it’s a small lamprey that can only be caught on certain stretches of the Spree…Only the hippest youth of Berlin carry one…You obviously haven’t heard of it yet…

this is miles ahead of any of BS’s “you might like this” Irish tripe music videos shot by a mate of a mate. that’s how bad things are.

On the one hand I’m laughing but on the other I’m thinking, at least he’s trying to make it in business – social media marketing, whatever we might think of its merits – and not bribing Michael Lowry or some other redneck politician so that he can fly around on a private jet for the rest of his days and fancy himself as an oligarch.

    1. Jog On

More than happy to for good lads getting ahead but he’s proven time and again that he’s a t0sser. Simples.

I’m in Miami and I really hope I don’t bump into this guy.
I feel my cringeometer would be put under severe pressure in his presence.
