      I have. So I repeat how does a cat end up with a *screw* that deeply embedded? A nail maybe from a fall or bizarre accident alone, not a screw.

If someone did that to my cat; I’d be very angry. The person who did that needs either moral guidance on the role of free-willed humans in the world or a chat with a medical professional. You need to be either sick or evil to inflict harm like that to another creature for gratuitious purposes.
