This is becoming a regular story – from one bank or the other. Are they just sitting on the cash?

It is a little bit funny teachers texting into radio shows that they weren’t paid for last month.

When they didn’t work last month, like.

“Ugghghghhghg Teachers teachers moan teachers moan moan holidays moan etc!” Well go be a f**kin teacher then if they have it so good.

You do realise they’re expected to sit there and watch your snot nosed brat kids all day, teach them, care for them, take a sh!t load of abuse from them without thumping the weird little face yourself and your partner managed to splice together, then deal with you, tell you why that future tattooed faced crack dealing tyke’s needs to work harder and you blame them ’cause your failed patenting means the flatulent little cat killing monster sits there, night after night, shooting hookers on GTA V rather than doing the homework prescribed to them. All of this at the same time as being on JobBridge because education isn’t something we should be spending money on.

But no, teachers should be rounded up in June, sent to labour camps for the summer, get em to break stones for the roads and all that jazz. Sure feck it, they can’t ever take a holiday at a decent time of year, why would they want a holiday at all. Give me a f**kin break.

To be fair, this doesn’t sound like it should come as a surprise to said teachers. The way you say it is almost like this is outside of their normal job specifications and in some way we should feel some empathy for them.

Ah, I’m only having a rant. Been a while and all that, too much lefty liberalness going on. In fairness though, teachers were able to beat the b’jaysus out of kids with immunity back in the day… not, of course, that that’s right.

I’ve had a spate of problems with Bank Of Ireland recently and it’s forced me to close my account completely. I don’t have a bank at home now.

Having lived in England, Japan and the US and used a wide variety of banks I can put my hand on my heart and say that BOI are the worst bank I’ve ever come across. Their fees, their attitude, their management, their customer service, EVERYTHING is below par by industry standards. I just can’t see why any self respecting person would subject them to BOI’s horsesh*t.
