A portion of an Irish Times Apple infographic.
Paul writes:
“The machine at the bottom looks like like an Apple II and the one above that seems to be the Original Mac. A geek fight is there for the taking. I’m not a geek. I’ve just been using the bastard computers since ’88. No plans on getting an iPhone though…”
Geek FIGHT!
U2 to appear in California for the launch of Apple’s new iPhone 6 (Brian Boyd, Irish Times)

The info graphic is correct. The iMac was introduced in 1998. I can still remember looking at them with envy in PC World as a teenager.
Nobody is debating the year the iMac was introduced.
Irish times nearly right – the bottom machine is an Apple IIc – not a Macintosh. The timeline otherwise is for Apple products (not just Macs) and is ok.
Well thank f*ck for that, you know how Picard gets when yiz f*ck with the timeline !

You know how it is dude.
That’s a IIc.The Apple ][ was much bigger than that. The ][e came later and was slightly smaller/slimmer.
Also being using the bastards since early 90’s got shot of last g5 mid 00’s
use a fast pc for graphics, don’t mind all those hipster ‘creatives’ you see on the
telly with their oul powerbuks….never bothered with the iphone either.
What’s the x-axis?
It’s when all your former girlfriends become friends based on a common hatred.
Nice. :-)
Is that one of the most misleading headlines ever?
