I think the UCI should impose a hefty penalty against the national federation, the culture that designed, approved for manufacture and asked athletes to wear this kit without at any stage thinking “maybe this is an inappropriate way to promote women’s sport” needs to be told that it’s out of order.
Alternatively reducing the best female cyclists to quasi-porn is an excellent way to get noticed and sure it’s only the women that are being demeaned, it’ll drag a lot of young lads into the sport…
