Just passed by The Four Courts [last night] and saw this. Seems to have been a poor turn out judging by the Million Mask March Dublin Facebook event page. Perhaps everyone was tired from marching in protest against the water charges.

Sure wouldnt all the computer nerds have been looking for WiFi at the web summit.
Bad scheduling
Websummit is for nerds who think they have social and networking skills and don’t think they’re nerds. Us actual nerds are having a nice, quiet few days now that the “entrepeneurs” and “ideas” people are off in the RDS watching talks on increasingly creative ways to say “Giz money even though my ideas are barely thought out aspirational waffle”.
Websummit is a marketing convention for people that think they’re nerds.
Actually, the web summit is the “Big Bang Theory” of tech conferences.
Eva’s no Penny in fainess.
Oooh that’s harsh!
Anonymous me hole, including that video that someone claims to be for them where they get in a huff about Water Charges.
Out of all the social injustices that has happened in Ireland as if it’s Water Charges they’ll get involved in.

+1 of all the crap thats happened.
The Garda ombudsman/penalty points stuff
Tuam babies
The church
bailing out the bondholders
People finally throw a fit and begin protesting when they might have to pay for something as individual consumers rather than communally.
Yes, the mother and child scandals and the issues around the bailout where the first to spring to mind for me.
As you say, someone has to pay for something and they have a cry about it.
