Good news for James Reilly’s friend and PR adviser Terry Prone, who is running bruising public relations for the Bon Secours nuns.

i am finding it impossible to keep up with the daily onslaught of cute hoorism from this government. I considered starting a blog to document it but I’d have to hire my wife, daughter and my cousin to keep up…. without any interview process and paid for by public money.

Meanwhile they are mooting an investigation into the IRA’s handling of abuse cases. Our government seems to hold an illegal so-called ‘terrorist’ group to a higher standard of care and accountability than a religious order. Baffling.

Not that baffling really, at a guess I’d say the results of any investigation into IRA sex abuse allegations will show up right around the time of the next general election.

…who’s married to the chairman of RTÉ, a former priest himself.

Still, don’t buy the implication, it’s not as if the Irish state needs Terry Prone to protect the many abuses and crimes of the Catholic Church, and more than ducks would need her to assist them with quacking and floating on water.
