This afternoon.
Sasko writes:
The queue to get in the Court of Criminal Justice [Dublin]. A massive queue formed due to tight security on the day when Water Charge protesters [arrested during a protest in Coolock on November 5] are due for contempt hearings.

i suppose they`ll be screeching and screaming and carrying on there too
#contemptofcourt
Well, yes, but that’s what they’re paid to do. What next, are you going to make fun of the wigs and the gavel as well?
Heh. Nicely done.
We sure about that reason? I saw a massive queue like this last week too.
…… and beheading, and *snipering* and generally being dissident and sinister!
are you sure it’s not for the major trial that’s ongoing?
The article says that the defendants have said that they will not comply with the court order, so therefore, they are in contempt, by any definition.
Whatever with allowing lawyers to cross question prosecution witnesses.
First it’s The Criminal Courts of Justice not “Court of Criminal Justice”. Secondly as a few people have already said the queue has nothing to do with Irish water protesters but due to a witness in case in the Special Criminal Court.
Anyone hear what revelry and merriment went on in the end?
