Finally.

The launch of Decembeard by the Men’s Cancer Alliance in The Dean Hotel, Dublin

What!?

A  month-long initiative to raise funds and create awareness of bowel cancer among men.

Leinster rugby beard Mick McGrath sez:

“My grandfather was diagnosed with bowel cancer some years ago and so I am happy to support a campaign that creates awareness of this disease and encourages men to look after their health”

I know its for a good cause but god, we’re only recovering from movember. this has the potential to be twice as annoying.

I’m waiting for Jocks June next year where I can happily wear jocks and raise money for charity at the same time.

      Pure mad.

Was the whole point of Movember that you were doing something that you wouldn’t normally do (ie, not many people have a moustache so it’s noteworthy that you have one). So many people have beards that it’s hardly that noteworthy if you’re growing one.

      PreCISELY.

I didn’t take grow a Mo because I didn’t want to have a Mo, but I have a beard 3 out of 7 days a week, and I can legitimately demand the people I donated to last month, donate to me this month.

Circle of life. All for a good cause etc.

Plus rides who normally don’t get beardy might get beardy.

How aboout something productive like helping an elderly person or doing some community service instead of another vanity project?

Movember raises millions and millions of sponds – for a vanity project I reckon it’s probably one of the good ones?

How about shaving off that damn fluff. You’re good looking fellas and we should be able to see your pretty faces.
