Last night.
Domhnall Gleeson and Alex Garland, star and director of robotic thriller Ex-Machina (2015) at the movie’s Irish premiere in the IFI, Temple Bar, Dublin.
Domhnall plays a coder who is “selected to participate in an experiment by evaluating the human qualities of a breakthrough in artificial intelligence”.
Same thing happened Karl.

Is it in 3D? Won’t willingly go to the cinema anymore unless the film is in 3D.
I won’t go to a 3-D film. Mostly done terribly.
Is it good? Won’t willingly go to the cinema anymore unless the film is good.
Is it safe? Is it safe? Won’t go to the cinema if it’s not safe.
Won’t willingly go to the cinema until I confirm the #sexualorientation of that robot.
Seems kinda complicated for a film about a dude banging a toaster
Love this sort of stuff.
Dudes banging toasters?
saw the trailer a while ago and it really pretty much gave away the entire all too predictable plot.
Having seen the film, the trailer is very deceptive. The film is great, much smarter than I expected. Every time I thought I knew exactly how it would play out, something happened that put me back at square one, and none of these twists is given away in the trailer. I’d recommend it.
Alex garland is a great writter. Sunshine, 28 days later, Dredd. Count me in
Dredd / The Raid…. bad guys in tower block, must get them out.
Dredd was atrocious, boring and had a strong bang of Mann about it with the OTT shoot out scenes, which were just that OTT and boring.
Give me the short scenes with the Angel Gang in Stallone’s Dredd over the whole reboot anyday!
My tuppence.
Saw the film and though the trailer did it a disservice. Brilliant story. Definitely recommend.
