Anyone know where you can get laverbread in Ireland? It’s made from seaweed apparently, is a Welsh delicacy and fairly nutritious. What does it taste like.

I’ve never found it in Ireland and I’ve searched quite a few specialist shops around the country. I tend to get friends in Wales to post it over every now and again. I usually mix the laverbread with some oats and shape it into cakes (think sliced black/white pudding size) and then fry them up in some bacon fat. Serve them with some potato cakes, bacon and a poached egg. Proper breakfast.
Needs more heart attack.
Needs more Irish….
