Order Out Of Chaos

at

0009e247-642Ceann Comhairle Sean Barratt

Someone must have told the cat to chill.

The Ceann Comhairle also said he was to examine the possibility of getting greater clarity of Standing Order 57, under which he took the decision to allow the inquiry into allegations of garda malpractice in the Cavan/Monaghan division to go ahead without debate.
Speaking in the Dáil prior to Leaders Questions, Mr Barrett said that at no time did he come under pressure from anyone in the run-up to his decision….he also withdrew the comment he made during an RTE Radio interview last week that the Opposition was out to undermine him.

He said it was in the heat of the moment.

He probably has good intentions, but he’s woefully ill-suited in temperament for that job. The shrieks out of him like.

How long will he able to cry out “Resume your seat”
looks like he’s in a hot one now…..his posterior somewhat on fire.
We need to estabish who is pulling the strings in whole affair….is it the
custodians of law and order who have a stranglehold on the democratic
    and administrative system….looks like it.
How is it, that this entire affair has rumbled on with nearly 2 years.
yet none the Penalty points were reinstated, how come the AG
has not approached the courts for a judical review into who made the
decisions and to establish the identity of those who had them
    cancelled.

Sur he needs ta’hang on as Cannie Cokey Coley by hook or by crook

    He’ll never get elected again

FF have him on a string now. If they table a no confidence motion, FG and Lab will defeat it, but having nigh on half the house saying they have no confidence in you would be enough to force him to resign.

John O’Donoghue quit as CC during the last Dail before a no confidence vote was taken on him, even thou his own party had the numbers to defeat it.

It says much about Enda Kenny that his own CC is now at the mercy of his greatest rivals.

The chairman of the Dáil said in a live interview he thought the opposition was out to get him.
With that single comment he has lost the chair, any other decision would throw the house into further disrepute
