F**k me that’s f**king ugly.
Agreed – in any other capital city, they’d be able to space those spotlights out around the area close by, without having to worry about scobes smashing them up. The only option here seems to be bolting them to the spire just out of reach.
No they wouldn’t. They would get smashed up in any other capital city. You think it only happens here because you live here.
you are the one who is wrong, you can’t leave anything out in Dublin that won’t get vandalised, especially art, really a city of resentful illits.
Too broad a thing to say.
In London, if they were up on the Strand or Regent Street – they’d be grand.
But Dublin’s main street is full of skangers off their hoops, so yeah, I wouldn’t leave anything unnailed down…
walked down it last night for the 1st time in a long while. Something out of night of the living dead. stopped to grab a coffee and the was 2 of them fast asleep at a table.
yes they would, o’connel st is in a jock, all the scumbags and druggies that were wrecking temple bar have been forced back over the liffey by zero tolerance policy by pearse st. Unfortunately store st haven’t the same resources and so o’connel st is even under more scum pressure.
I think they go on when it gets dark.
Enda Kenny will be illuminated by his very own 10,000w green spotlight for that day.
Hurr Durr Gubberment.
Hope it melts him.
