Fenton? Fenton! Fenton! Jesus Christ!
33 minutes gone…you seem to have got away with that one
OMG, like, the man’s body is still warm.
(And anyway it was a different Fenton)
Hardly disrespectful.
Mani is clearly in shock.
He got more and more like Gregg Henry as he got older.
You sure?
Someone should invite the Richmond Park fellow to the funeral. He could chase the hearse down the street, and do his “Fenton, Fenton, Fenton, no, Jesus Christ, no” piece. A modern day moirologist.
What a genuinely lovely bloke! RIP Tony.
Some of his words after making a settlement to the revenue for unpaid taxes.
I know there are two things for certain in this world: death and taxes. And I was wondering which would be a problem for me first.
How’d he die? Was it expected?
A 5 year battle with prostate cancer apparently.
Looks like he didn’t get over his cancer as reported in the Independent.

very sad, condolences to his family and friends
I’ve no doubt your words will ease their suffering considerably, Leela2011

Well that certainly put me in my place.
You’re already in your place.
Having lost someone recently, reading all the kind and lovely words on their internet memorial page was a huge source of comfort to the members of this person’s family, including me.
If you have something nice to say, say it.

Sad :(
A unique and wonderfully cheesy presenter and a lovely guy!
rip
aw really? that’s sh1t news. RIP tony, you silver-tongued charmer.
RIP
He was an excellent broadcaster – perhaps in a sense *too* polished in that (personally speaking) it was hard to get over the fact that he was having a serious conversation with somebody on the radio…the mannerisms were a distraction.
that wasn’t his fault, per se; he was just too good for too long doing the cheesey stuff. In my head, I’ve parallels with Tony Blackburn…
In any event, he’ll be missed, and my condolences to his friends and family.
A likeable cheeseball. R.I.P.
Very Smashey and Nicey but a likeable guy all the same, may he RIP.
Really sorry to hear that. Only met him over the airwaves, but a gent and a great DJ.
Condolences to his family, and RIP
R.I.P. the FenTone
And sincere condolences to his family and friends
Played some great Motown tunes. Was a properly sound guy in person too.
