Someone should invite the Richmond Park fellow to the funeral. He could chase the hearse down the street, and do his “Fenton, Fenton, Fenton, no, Jesus Christ, no” piece. A modern day moirologist.

Some of his words after making a settlement to the revenue for unpaid taxes.

I know there are two things for certain in this world: death and taxes. And I was wondering which would be a problem for me first.

      1. Nice Anne (Dammit)

Having lost someone recently, reading all the kind and lovely words on their internet memorial page was a huge source of comfort to the members of this person’s family, including me.

If you have something nice to say, say it.

    RIP

He was an excellent broadcaster – perhaps in a sense *too* polished in that (personally speaking) it was hard to get over the fact that he was having a serious conversation with somebody on the radio…the mannerisms were a distraction.

that wasn’t his fault, per se; he was just too good for too long doing the cheesey stuff. In my head, I’ve parallels with Tony Blackburn…

In any event, he’ll be missed, and my condolences to his friends and family.

  2. Slightly Bemused

Really sorry to hear that. Only met him over the airwaves, but a gent and a great DJ.

Condolences to his family, and RIP
